Our Story
Tio Lucho’s isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a love letter to Peru and the South, penned by James Beard Award semi-finalist Chef Arnaldo Castillo.
Named for his father, Luis—aka "Tio Lucho"—a larger-than-life figure in both the kitchen and Castillo’s life, this Poncey-Highland gem delivers a menu that’s as bold as its story. Think bright ceviches drenched in leche de tigre, wok-fired Lomo Saltado that practically dances off the plate, and homages to Northern Peru, all with a distinctly Atlanta twist. Born from Castillo’s cult-favorite pop-up, La Chingana, Tio Lucho’s is where Peruvian flavors meet Southern soul—served with a side of heart and a lot of hustle.
